Toot! Toot!
Those who know me also know that I am not one to toot my own horn.
I think I’m a humble fella, I don’t want or need fanfare and praise to do my job. I avoid the spotlight. I don’t want to be the center of attention… usually. I’m more a Chad Greenway (make play, get up, walk back to huddle) than a Jared Allen (make play, crouch, stir up trouble, woot me for doing my job).
So why am I blogging about recommendations? An advisor of sorts recently asked me, “‘Where are your customer recommendations?”
“I have some letters that customers wrote, and then there are the posts on Angie’s List.”
“Give me a link to the Angie’s ones.”
So I did. They called back in about 3 minutes.
“I can’t see them, I have to pay Angie’s List to be a member to see them.”
Oh? Oh. Well, yes, I guess that’s one of the ways they make money.
And so, I created the Testimonials page here on the website. I simply copied and pasted what my customers said into it. I didn’t embellish it or jazz it up. There are some comments out on Facebook as well you can see (without having to be a Facebook member).
Oh. And woot me!
